Savings challenge calculator
Make a mini savings plan that fits your dates. Choose a goal and a maximum per deposit, then get a daily, weekly or 52-week schedule you can print. Free, with no account.
This calculator creates a plan, not a record of money saved. Choose the amounts yourself; no money is moved and no bank account is connected.
Build your savings schedule
Use a decimal point with up to two decimal places and no commas (for example, 120.50). Supported amounts: 0.01–1,000,000. Dates include both the start and end day, up to 366 days.

A small goal, with a clear stopping point
A mini savings challenge can be as simple as planning 30.00 over 10 days: 3.00 per day. Your maximum is a limit you choose, not a recommendation. If a goal does not fit, lower it or allow more time; the calculator will not silently raise your limit.
How weekly amounts are calculated
A plan from November 1 to November 30 has five weekly dates: November 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29. A target of 100.00 would be split into five planned amounts of 20.00. Rounding is handled in cents, so the final planned total always matches your target.
A printable 52-week savings challenge
Select “52-week challenge” above for a dated plan you can start any week. The classic target of 1,378.00 gives planned amounts of 1.00, 2.00, up to 52.00. Reverse puts 52.00 first and 1.00 last. Even amounts give 26.50 each week. All three total the same planned amount.
Can I use a custom target?
Yes. Increasing and reverse patterns divide your target in proportion to the numbers 1–52, then distribute any remaining cents by fractional remainder. This keeps the total exact, though custom amounts may not increase by the same amount each week. The minimum target is 13.78 for increasing/reverse, ensuring even the smallest weighted share reaches 0.01 before rounding; even amounts need at least 0.52. For a smaller goal, use a shorter daily/weekly plan.
What if the largest week exceeds my maximum?
The tool will show an error instead of raising your limit. For the classic target, increasing and reverse both need a maximum of at least 52.00; even amounts need 26.50. Changing direction moves the large amounts to a different date; it does not reduce the largest amount.
Is a 52-week plan the same as 365 days?
No. There are 52 deposits, one every seven days from your start. The last falls on day 358; the full challenge ends on day 364. Both dates are shown separately. There is no extra 53rd deposit at the end of a calendar year.
Build a 52-week plan. The calculator produces planned amounts only. Its contract and daily tracker do not verify deposits or record an account balance.
Print it, then check in on your rules
Use your browser’s print dialog to save a PDF or print a copy for a binder. Plans lasting 7–366 days can also become a draft in the contract builder. Review that draft before saving it. The daily tracker records whether you kept your rules; it does not track balances or verify actual deposits. Plans under 7 days can be printed only.
Inputs and schedules on this page are not saved automatically. Print before leaving. Applying to a contract passes a short rule summary to the builder; it does not preserve this full schedule.
