Study plan calculator
Turn remaining topic minutes and daily availability into a concrete exam study schedule. See what fits, what remains unassigned and what to do on each date.
No account or course upload. Your estimates guide the plan; they do not measure mastery or predict a grade.
Set your remaining work and available time, then calculate.
My study schedule
These are estimates and planned tasks, not completed study or a measure of readiness. Both dates are included. Keep this detailed plan before leaving the page.
Unassigned work
There is not enough capacity for all the estimated work. The schedule below is incomplete.

How this study schedule calculator works
Use it as a study schedule or a revision timetable: enter your own topics, practice tasks and last available study date. Exam dates vary by school and exam board, so the planner does not assume a national exam calendar.
Add your remaining estimated minutes for each topic. The calculator fills the first available date with the first topic, moves to the next topic when those minutes are allocated, and continues through your last study day. Each day is capped at the minutes you entered for that weekday; extra rest dates have zero capacity. It fills earlier days first rather than spreading work evenly. You choose the order and the estimates.
Example: 600 minutes over five days
Suppose you have 300 minutes of one topic and 300 of another, with 120 minutes available on each of five days. The plan uses 120 minutes on every day: topic one on days 1 and 2, 60 minutes of each on day 3, then topic two on days 4 and 5. Exactly 600 minutes are scheduled.
When the work exceeds your available time
If the two topics instead need 360 minutes each, five days at 120 minutes still provide only 600 minutes. Topic one fills the first three days; 240 minutes of topic two fit on days 4 and 5. Its remaining 120 minutes stay unassigned. The tool never hides that shortfall or lengthens a day without your input.
Replan from what is actually left
After studying, update each topic’s remaining estimate and choose the next start date. A zero-minute topic needs no allocation. Your new calculation replaces the previous plan; it does not infer that earlier tasks happened. Printing opens your browser’s print dialog, where Save as PDF may be available. Short plans and incomplete plans remain printable, but only feasible 7–366 day plans can be applied to a contract.
Study planning questions
How does the study plan calculator allocate time?
It uses your remaining estimated minutes for each topic, in the order entered. It fills each available day up to that weekday’s capacity, skips rest dates and carries unfinished topics to the next day. A topic can span multiple days. It does not add study time beyond your limits.
Does the deadline include my exam day?
The deadline is your last available study day and is included in the plan. If you do not want to study on exam day, select the previous date. Both dates must be within 1900–2200 and the inclusive plan must last 1–366 days.
What happens if there is not enough time?
The result shows scheduled minutes, the total shortfall and each topic’s unassigned minutes. You can print this incomplete schedule, but cannot apply it to a contract. Reduce remaining work, increase available time or change dates, then calculate again.
How do I update a plan after studying or missing a day?
Enter the estimated minutes still needed for each topic and move the start to your next available day. Calculate again. The previous schedule is replaced, not counted as completed work. This page does not save inputs between visits.
What reaches the challenge tracker?
A feasible 7–366 day plan can send its dates and three generic rules to the contract builder. Topic names and detailed daily tasks are not transferred. Save or print the schedule first. The tracker records checkmarks, not actual study minutes, topic mastery or exam readiness.
Are my topics uploaded, and will this improve my grades?
The calculation runs in your browser. Topic names, estimates and dates are not sent in tool analytics; events contain only tool actions, result status or fixed error categories. Estimates are yours to adjust, and this planner makes no guarantee about grades or learning outcomes.
